The floating-electron-based quantum information RIKEN Hakubi research team is part of RIKEN Center for Quantum computing and Cluster for Pioneering Research.
We are working on the application of electrons floating on liquid helium and solid neon for quantum information. This physical system has a high potential to provide an ideal platform for realizing a quantum computer, as it is free of impurities and defects. Additionally, we are focusing on the technological development required for large-scale quantum computation.

News!
Our Rydberg detection paper has been published in PRL and was selected as an Editors’ Suggestion—one of only six chosen.
And congratulations to Ash for winning the poster award at LT30!
We would also like to express our gratitude to the organizers for making LT30 such a successful and inspiring event.
