Health Guidelines
The Fearrington Swim & Croquet Club is committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all members, guests, and staff. While COVID-19 is now part of the broader landscape of seasonal and respiratory illnesses, we encourage common-sense health practices that support the wellbeing of our community.
General Health & Wellness
Please do not visit the club if you are feeling unwell, have a fever, or are experiencing symptoms of a contagious illness. Members and guests are encouraged to follow current public health guidance regarding vaccinations, testing, and returning to normal activities after illness.
Members who prefer to take additional precautions, such as wearing a mask indoors or in crowded settings, are always welcome to do so.
Crowding & Personal Space
We encourage members to be mindful of personal space, especially during peak pool hours. Those who prefer a quieter experience may use their key card for early morning access prior to staffed pool hours. Guests are not permitted during unstaffed hours.
Lap swimmers are asked to be courteous and share lanes when appropriate. Families may share lanes together. Please help keep walkways, ladders, and pool entry points clear for safe access.
Furniture may be moved to accommodate groups, but we ask that it be returned to its original location when finished.
Cleanliness & Facility Use
Hand sanitizer is available at the front desk and in designated areas around the pool. Members are encouraged to practice good hygiene, including showering before entering the pool and washing hands after using shared facilities.
Bathrooms are cleaned regularly as part of routine operations. Members may also choose to bring personal wipes or sanitizer for added comfort.
Food & Beverage
The water fountain is available for use. Bottled water may be available for purchase in the cabana refrigerator on the honor system. If bringing outside beverages, please remember that glass containers are not permitted anywhere on club property.
Recreation & Equipment
Small pool toys are permitted; however, balls and squirt guns are not allowed. Members are encouraged to bring their own noodles or kickboards and take them home after use.
Shuffleboard, tetherball, and volleyball may be enjoyed on the upper lawn. Ping-pong is available in the cabana.
Classes and organized activities may be offered throughout the season.
