Welcome to the FDR Memorial Additional Training! This course is designed to prepare you to serve as an informed, confident, and inclusive representative of the Memorial. During this training, you'll build understanding, awareness, and confidence needed to help visitors connect meaningfully with the stories and spirit of the FDR Memorial.
This course is organized into four modules, each covering a key part of the volunteer experience. Use the practice activities throughout the training to check your understanding and build confidence as you learn.

By the end of the training, volunteers will be able to:
Share key historical themes of the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial with visitors and create meaningful opportunities for interpretation and reflection.
Confidently engage visitors through thoughtful questions, stories, and resource guidance that bring the memorial’s history and design to life.
Support a welcoming environment for visitors of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities by modeling respectful interactions.
