Clarity Care is a DVR service provider. We provide a wide range of services to our consumers to ensure that they find the best placement to fit their needs. Some services we provide are as follows:
· Job shadows: this allows consumers to go into a business of interest to see first-hand what the positions are, the tasks that are completed on a daily basis and to get exposure to an actual work environment.
· Job Preparation: this service allows for our consumers to work with us to create or strengthen resume, references, and cover letters. In addition to the documents during this service we practice interviewing and skills necessary for getting and retaining a position within the community
· Job Development: during this service the consumer searches for potential positions- both with the service provider and independently. While the consumer is in this service the provider can help the consumer with applications, follow up on the status of applications etc. whatever the consumer feels comfortable with and feels they need assistance with.
· Temporary work experiences: this is a limited time paid experience where the consumer has the ability to try a desired position of interest at a work site. This allows for both the consumer and the service provider to see what types of accommodations(if any) need to be made, and the types of barriers and skills the consumer possess that in turn help with permanent job placement.
· Systematic Instruction: this service allows the service provider to give our consumers additional support when working if needed for extra explanation, demonstration of a task, providing direct assistance, giving cues/ prompts etc.
· Retention: This service is completed after a consumer has been hired at a work site and is where the provider follows along with the client for 90 days after their hire date to ensure that the consumer is happy and to work as an aid between consumer and supervisor if any concerns come up on either end.
