We have three main programs: Afterschool, Saturday Respite, and Summer Program. Afterschool (Offered to Fond du Lac Area Schools, Transport from school and home is available (Operate from 3 to 5pm Weekly during the school). In addition provide full day respite (9-4pm) on days that the school has off that don't overlap Arc days off. During this timeframe, we offer one Saturday Respite (9-4pm) a month (provides lunch, activities or outings). Lastly we have a Summer Program, operates 9 to 4pm weekly from June to August, offered to all of Fond du Lac County, and transport provided if available and within 25 miles of The Arc.
Youth program offers a variety of options to parents. It is very similar to what they are doing in school to keep their lives consistent and ensure transition from one setting to the next is smooth.
Adult Day Services (OC) - Serves 18 and older. They have several classrooms to help provide spaces for all abilities and care needs. They help with the transitional youth by providing the Young Adult Program. From there, they will either decide to work/live on their own or into another classroom. Their rooms are person centered and their lesson plans are organized to help support their clients needs and goals.
The Community Enrichment Program (CEP), is a nights and weekends program designed to integrate those with intellectual and developmental disabilities into the community in a safe, fun, and supportive environment. Participants must be 18 or older and will work to further develop their skills, accomplish goals, build confidence, and socialize.
