2026 Rule Update:  5-EVENT RULE :

Based on feedback we received from you at the post-season coaches meeting, there has been an update to the rule regarding event participation:

5-Event Rule: Participation in 5 events will be allowed only if including one diving event and only if including one relay event, and no more than 3 individual swim events. Entering 2 relays means max 2 individual swim events. A swimmer MAY NOT participate in 5 swimming events or 4  swimming individual events.

Weather Rule:

Postponements a. A meet, or any part of a meet, shall be postponed only for reasons of safety, of weather, or failure of facilities or at the request of both Swim Chairs. The Referee shall stop the meet for such reasons, but the decision as to when and where to resume competition shall be made only by the two Coaches (subject to approval of their Swim Chairs) or by the two Swim Chairs. b. A postponed competition shall be held within seven days after the originally scheduled date. The rescheduled date should be notified to the FCSL Board promptly in writing by the Swim Chairs of both clubs. c. Any event completed during the original competition shall not be repeated when competition is resumed. No diving contestant shall repeat any completed dive in an event when competition is resumed. 

Order of Diving Events:

(a) At dual meets, diving events shall be held in order from Event 1, Boys 10/under through Event 8, Girls 17/under. (b) The order of events may be changed with mutual agreement of the Coaches and approval of the Referee and Head Scorer

Throughout the season, please make note of any rules you'd like to propose changing and bring these to the coaches meeting on July 30th. Since you are all executing these rules, we rely on you to propose any changes. We will meet after the 10U Championship events and attendance is mandatory.
