Tremont

Tremont Station was located in West Wareham on Rolling Mill Rd, and was the end of the Fairhaven Branch Railroad. It was on the intersection where the Fairhaven branch joined up with the line that went to Cape Cod, and to Boston. It does not stand today, although this is one of the few places where the track still remains, and the tracks continue past Fearring Hill Rd, a ways down the line. There was on the bottom floor a few windows and a few doors, plus a bump-out on both sides. There was an overhang separating the first and second floor, similar to the Mattapoisett Station, but there was an overhand where the second floor hung out past the first floor, supported by a few posts. On the second floor there where a few more windows, and a bit of trim that hung down from the roof. There where three chimneys, plus a smaller one on the roof.
