This week assignment was designing a mobile mobile Holder by using Fusion 360 actually the assignment was very interesting I began to make to make brain storming by watching most of mobile stands designs on Pinterest I was inspired by the Multifunction designs I think it's more space saving so I choose this cool mobile stand that works as a pens holder in the same time .

First I tried to make a rapid prototype to my design then I used Fusion 360 to Design my model I drew the elephant and the other parts as 2D sketches then extrude them to .3 millimeter ,I used screw and nuts to assemble them together by using the dimensions of the T- slot , I extruded the file as a DXF
Finally I used laser works to prepare the file for laser cutting

I tried to make free hand sketches to my design then making an initial prototype to make sure that the dimensions and shape all come together
Then I used Fusion 360 to Design my model I I tried to make it as a block then add features to it then making living hinges to make the wood be able to be bend

We will use the laser cutter to cut our model to 2D parts then Assemble them

As we are from different backgrounds so we help each other, hossam told me about something that I don't know in my final project and send me some resources to find out about smart conpostaing
I'm trying to help them as soon as possible the last week I sent them videos to watch about how to laser cut mobile stand or how to design A mobile stand on Fusion

At the beginning I was having a misunderstand in the design process I thought that we will start designing from 2D to 3D then I stopped and returned to search more I found that I can draw a block of my design then add or features then I can modify add or remove something to my design

I think i can use living hinges to make any round shape by wood I was willing to learn this technique to help me do more on my my final project I think it will be a helpful method to make anything I want
