Ideation

Tell us about your assignment's idea for this week. Why do you care about this idea? What were you inspired by?

This week assignment was designing a 3d pen Holder by using Fusion 360 actually the assignment was very interesting because we tried to design 2d model of Vase design in the pre activity I began to make to make brain storming on Pinterest .

Which software/machines/materials did you use this week? Why?

I used Fusion 360 Software to the to draw a 3d pen holder

I will use 3d printer (Prusa) next week for printing the holder

Design Process

Explain the design process of your assignment. How did you use the tool/software to design and/or simulate your assignment?

I tried to draw a geometric shape then you uses the 3d model features that I have learned to adjust the model as I want I have made the different shapes using left, revolve

Then i used prusa slicer to expert the G code

Explain the fabrication/implementation process of your assignment. How did you use the machine/tool to manufacture or implement the design of your assignment?

I used the 3d printer to print this model

After we did the Eco week - self practice , we make a refresh in the week assignment and discuss the points we don't understand then he told us again how to export this G code on prusa slicer and how to adjust the time and volume Scott

Menna helped me on flipgrid when i was having a problem with shawing the material on Fusion

Overcoming Challenges

When you got stuck, what/who did you turn to? At what point did you have to pause to research or learn more before moving on? What are some mistakes, pitfalls, or challenges that others can avoid if they were doing this project?

I was having a lots of ideas in my mind , at the beginning I thought that I can't bring all these features or tools together but I found that it was very interesting and came up with different shapes and designs

Final Project

How can you use the skills and knowledge that you've acquired this week in your final project?

I can use these tools to add features to my model such as Rvolve , loft , sweep

What is the coolest thing that you've learned this week? What is something that you will never forget from this week?

I have learned how to use 3D model features to model any design I can think of this helped me to get variety of ideas to design different ideas that come up with in my mind with different tools and ways
