12 MINUTES OF EXERCISE COULD MINIMISE THE RISK OF HEART DISEASE OR DIABETES

Do you ever wonder how long it takes to exercise and start reducing the risk of heart disease and diabetes before and just after they had pedaled for 12 minutes on cycling machines, scientists analyzed blood from more than 400 middle-aged men and women, hitting a high rate. Scientists assessed levels of approximately 600 natural body chemicals in particular (metabolites).

Exercise has contributed to major improvements in most metabolites. The amount of one metabolite linked to heart disease and diabetes, for instance, dropped by 29%. Another metabolite related to the risk of diabetes and liver disease dropped by 18%. This indicates, but does not prove, that the risk of heart disease and diabetes may be decreased by 12 minutes of daily exercise (which involves vigorous activity).

What if you are more of an exercise of mild intensity? We do not yet know if exercise at moderate intensity would have a similar impact on metabolites. But study participants began with very light exercise, and the strength increased every minute, senior author of the study and a cardiologist at the Massachusetts General Hospital affiliated with Harvard."
