Leadership skills in a necessary quality for anyone looking to be successful in the business world - or any profession. In the HR department, employees can take the lead role on various projects, like class-specific assignments or certain VEI competitions.
State of the Department Presentation
State of the Department Presentation
State of the Department is a responsibility handed to me by the class facilitator, Mr. Hanson, and shared with my acquaintance Aubrey. This is a biweekly assignment for the entire class, where each department is required to create a presentation documenting any new work done. These presentations are then to be presented in front of the class by a random member from each department. The presentation on the left is an informational presentation about what the State of the Department is and how it will be handled in VEI.

In addition to creating the presentation, I created a calendar. The calendar contains the general rubric and the assignment requirements for each presentation date. It is used by the whole class, and I edit it whenever I need to add more information.

Future Plans
I hope to continue taking the lead on projects both in this class and in any future group I'm in. Whether it's in the workplace or in class, I hope to take initiative where ever I can.
