Peer relationships are important indicators of the growing child’s psychosocial health. To assist in assessing our patient’s social and mental health, the integration of Patient Reported Outcomes (PROs) tools in clinical practice has been essential. The PROMIS pediatric assessment was developed to capture self-reported anger, depression, peer relationships, pain, and physical function. Identifying efficient and accurate measures of self-reported peer relationship function in children with orthopedic conditions is vital to assisting clinicians in assessing the growing child’s psychosocial health. The primary objective is to identify trends in peer relationship PROMIS outcomes for pediatric patients with orthopedic conditions.
