This is the genre section of the Fallout Universe. In this portion of our system you will understand the unique layers of genre that Fallout has to offer. From the comical side of things. All the way to the horrors of total nuclear annihilation!
This section will also feature a number of trailers from the Fallout games.

Fallout is well known to have weapons and technology that don't seem to work in real life. Such as laser, and plasma weapons, and even nuclear powered cars. The game series is full of things that are just complete works of science fiction.

This one genre is outside the story telling side of Fallout and more associated with the gaming portion. The series is well known for making up your own stories as you play, there is very little backstory as you play, allowing you to make your character whatever you want.
Dark Horror

Playing through the games, a common genre you can find is "dark horror". While looking through notes, computer entries, etc. You can find the dark and depressing side, of what can happen after a nuclear holocaust.
Purpose of These Genres

The purpose of these genres is to make you, the player, feel as if you're in a alternate reality. Some points during the game may not always feel like you're a different world. Most of the time though, if you're really invested in the story of Fallout, it can sometimes feel as if you are a part of the main story. All of these genres come together to create that feeling for the player.
Within the community, each of these genres goes much further than one may think. There are hundreds, if not thousands of articles going through every detail of Fallout, these articles are made by the Fallout community, and one can spend hours, if not days looking through the entire story line of Fallout.
