DALLIASAT is a cultural immersion program organized by the College of Teacher Education at the University of Northern Philippines for SEA Teacher participants. The name “Dalliasat” comes from an Ilocano word meaning to traverse or to journey, symbolizing the exploration of Ilocano culture, language, traditions, and way of life.
Through this program, SEA Teacher participants visit several historical landmarks, natural attractions, and cultural sites across Ilocos Norte and Ilocos Sur. The activity allows participants to experience the beauty of the region while gaining a deeper understanding of the local culture and community.
Kapurpurawan Rock Formation in Burgos, Ilocos Norte is a stunning natural limestone formation known for its smooth white rocks shaped by wind and sea erosion over time. The bright white rocks contrast beautifully with the deep blue sea, creating a breathtaking coastal landscape.
