As part of a larger effort to investigate community food insecurity issues in the Brazos Valley, this project seeks to develop a network of sustainable food production sites, comprised of local religious congregations and organizations. We utilize free starter raised garden beds installed in collaboration with the help of participants, guided by local knowledge from the research extension university office and the Master Gardeners of Brazos County. For the safety of team members and the local community, the garden installation portions of this project have been suspended. We still pursue our research agenda and offer resources where we can. See the downloadable resources and links in the navigation menu.
