Fair Settlement Isle of Man is a community-led campaign. What happens next will be shaped not just by policy papers and legal texts, but by how many people choose to speak up, show up and stand together for fair rules.
Whether you are directly affected, Manx-born, an employer, or simply someone who cares about the Island’s future, there is a role for you.
Sign the petition (everyone)
Add your name to the Island-wide petition calling for a clear, non-retrospective commitment to honour the five-year route for people already here.
Register to vote and use your vote (you are likely to be eligible if you have been resident for 12 months)
If you are eligible to be on the electoral register, make sure you are registered and ready for the next House of Keys general election. It is one of the most powerful ways to influence decisions about the Island’s future.

The opportunities to participate in the community and business surveys have closed. There is a two week window in which to sign the Tynwald public petition, launching 1st June and closing 12th June. Find out more on our Petition page.
These surveys have now closed:
Complete the survey (if you are directly affected)
If you are on a time-limited visa without ILR, please complete the survey so we can show decision-makers the real human and financial impact of these changes. This survey has now closed and the findings have been presented to the Isle of Man government.
Share your story via the survey
Personal stories help MHKs, officials and the wider public understand what is at stake. If you are comfortable doing so, you can consent to your experience being used anonymously in briefings and media.
Engage as an employer or ally
If you run or manage a business, or work in a sector that relies on staff from overseas, you can add your voice, share evidence and support affected employees. The Chamber of Commerce business survey has now closed. Findings were presented to the Isle of Man government on 26 February.
