Chris Alpaugh

Chris is a 1999 graduate of New Oxford High School. While in high school, he played two seasons of high school football under head football coach Gardy Lawrence. As a member of the Colonials football team, Chris played wide receiver.

From 2008-2013, Chris played semi-professional football for the Lancaster Lightning and Hanover Rhinos. He played tight end, defensive tackle, and linebacker.

From 2004-2006, Chris coached youth football for the Duryea Wildcats. Chris was a defensive coordinator and special teams coordinator, and worked with every position on the field. From 2007-2010, He was both an assistant coach and head coach for the New Oxford Scramblers youth football program.

From 2013-2014, Chris was an assistant football coach for the semi-professional Hanover Rhinos on Jimmy Moffitt's staff. He was the defensive coordinator and special teams coordinator, and worked with linebackers and the defensive line.

In 2018, Chris joined the high school football staff at Fairfield High School. Chris coaches offensive and defensive linemen.

Chris and his wife, Jessica, have three children: John, Summer, and Audrey. All three of their children are recent graduates of New Oxford High School. Additionally, Chris's family includes two English Bulldogs: Rocky and Beatrice. Chris is self-employed as a mechanical contractor.
