Welcome!
We are honored to work with you this evening.
This workshop is intended to introduce you to easy to use mapping tools that can help you and your community prepare for extreme weather events.Â
We are seeing more intense and more frequent weather events all across the country, whether it is excessive heat in the summer, arctic blasts bringing frigid temperatures in the winter, heavy rain and snow, or drought. These extreme weather events are triggering fires, landslides and floods. But we can empower our communities by learning more about the likelihood of different weather events in our regions, the consequences to our health and wellbeing, and steps we can take to prepare and adapt to these ongoing changes to our weather.
We will begin with a group activity so that we can work together to learn more about At-Large Communities and the challenges you face. Please fill out the form below and we will use your responses to build the map.
