The Bioengineering Engineering we used:
Biomedical engineers are used in designing instruments and devices in order to develop new procedures and solve new problems.
Major developments in bioengineering include medical devices such as laser surgery, which our project is similar to in the fact that it is helping with the detection of COVID-19.
The Electrical Engineering we used:
We used the concept of circuits and truth tables in order to build a system that would detect the warnings of coronavirus.
We used the concepts of current, resistance, and voltage in order to build the circuit with the equation, I=V/R or electric current is equal to voltage divided by resistance.
We used the concepts of parallel circuits and the rules that follow one in order to understand our design for the circuit.
Other relations to bioengineering and electrical engineering subjects that we learned in class:
We were introduced to the binary number system and decimal system.
We were also introduced to Boolean algebra and digital logic.
We also used the concepts of bits and bytes in order to add, subtract, and multiply binary numbers.
We also learned how to go from binary digits to decimal.
