Summary & Explanation on Computer Science/ Engineering & Robotics

The computer science/engineering methods we used:

1. Gathering ideas from the team allowing us to recieve the basic layout of our course and layout.

2. We discussed ideas of how the robot should react when encountering a wall or obstacle, and how the robot should avoid them.

3. We turned our ideas into proper code to help fix this real world situation

The robotics methods we used:

1. We thought carefully about where and how our robot would need to get through certain passageways.

2. Gathered information on what was the best way to program the robot to be successful in its enviroment.

Other relations to engineering and robotics subjects that we learned in class:

• developed the understanding of perceptual space and had to imagine the robots sensor's space.

• Evaluated the negative and positive feedback to be able to identify what needed to change to recieve a better solution.

• Planned our code through a flow chart to be avle to get a perception of the robot and manipulate our views to others.
