Explaining Science 101
Any science teacher knows that explaining science concepts is not easy, but there are a few simple tricks that can make it easier.
Describe the phenomena clearly. What do you see? What are the important parts/elements of the phenomena? (e.g. what stuff do you need to make this happen)
What can you not see? What are the hidden forces or elements?
What makes it move or change? What is the cause of the phenomena?
Use an analogy - how is this phenomena like something else that we are familiar with?
Use a diagram, drawing or other visual to help you explain
Use language that everyone can understand. Explain scientific terms you use.

Video Support
There are many ways to record and edit your videos - iMovie, WeVideo, Capcut (or using social media apps)
We recommend WeVideo if you are using Chromebooks. Students can create up to 5 minutes videos for free
