Teacher Checklist

• Register your classes (can be done later)

• Get students excited by talking about the prizes!

• Create rules for your class competition (in line with the ExplanaJam rules)

  • must explain a phenomenon

  • 3 minute limit

  • no outside video or audio

• Talk to students about what a good explanation is

• Make suggestions for recording videos

• Provide a place to turn in the finished videos

• Run your competition by May 21

  • You are the judge - or let students decide (official rubric)

• Turn in your top three video selections (directions given to all registered teachers)

(we will follow up by asking for video release for the top 3 videos, then uploading the videos to our site)
