Production
This unit focuses on producing through the application of knowledge of visual elements and principles to create 2-D and/ or 3-D artworks previously conceptualised thematically.
Students will
1. Utilise themes previously developed and apply knowledge of visual elements and principles to create 2-D or
3-D art work that demonstrates Identity or awareness to local or global environmental issues.
Achievement Indicators
1.1 Use the visual arts elements (line, space, shape, form, value, colour, texture) and principles (rhythm, balance, unity, variety, movement, proportion, repetition) to create 2-D or 3-D works of art and solve design problems.
2. Develop craft through the use of suitable tools, materials, processes and techniques in developing 2-D or 3-D creative ideas.
Achievement Indicators
2.1. Investigate and apply the use of traditional and contemporary processes and techniques to create 2-D or 3-D works of art.
3 Create works of art that express personal themes and involve self-reflection.

3.1 Express national and cultural identity in the works of art
3.2 Depict social life themes and issues in artwork
3.3 Express historical identity through the production of designs and artworks
