Our research group is part of the LUCID Department of the Leiden University Medical Center in Leiden, The Netherlands, located on the vibrant Leiden Bio Science Park and part of the oldest university of the Netherlands, Leiden University.
Our research group is interested in fundamental and translational aspects of bacterial biology.
Past and present work in our group is funded by for instance the Dutch Research Council (NWO), ZonMW, Innovative Health Initiative (IHI2), Leiden University Fund (LUF) and Health~Holland.Â
