What is Self Control?
Self control is the ability to stop and think before acting. Self control is about being able to control and manage your emotions so that you can make more positive choices when feeling angry or upset at something or someone.
What are some examples of self control?
Raising your hand to share in class
Stopping yourself before making a mean comment to someone
Stopping and thinking about how to make a more positive decision
Controlling your urges to take something that is left out
Managing your emotions when your feeling angry or upset
