  • Math Ninja - Many students with ADHD find Math challenging because it requires a large amount of time, effort, memorizing, etc. Math Ninja is a gaming app that makes math fun for students while helping them practice various math activities. It’s a full game, too, so every correct answer makes students earn more weapons to fight against the Tomato-San villain and his robots.
  • Dragon Dictation - Not just for language learners, Dragon Dictation is an easy-to-use voice recognition application that allows you to easily speak and instantly see your text or email messages.
  • Due — super fast reminders, reusable egg timers - No login, no sign-ups, just a simple app to set-up reminders with alerts set up in mere seconds.
  • Unstuck - Sometimes ADHD minds can feel overwhelmed by tasks or just not in the mood to do them. Unstuck is a great app for moments like these, because it uses cognitive behavioral principles to help your students get unstuck!
  • iReward Chart - Students with ADHD respond much better to rewards for good behavior rather than punishment for bad behavior. iReward Chart that allows teachers to monitor a student’s behavior on the app and then reward them with stars - and real-life rewards - when they achieve a task.

We love taking pictures throughout the day, but sometimes plain photos can need a bit of a boost. Here are some great photo apps recommended for educators:

  2. PicCollage - Photo Collage Maker & Picture Editor - Probably one of the easiest collage makers available, make quick and easy collages with stickers, colours, and backgrounds. Easy to share, download, and save, you can quickly add to emails, Google Classroom, etc.
  3. Prisma Photo Editor - Transform your photos into into paintings styled like Picasso, Munch or even Salvador Dali.
  4. Typic Kids - Fun Photo Editor - A super easy-to-use photo editing app specifically created for kids age 6+ to resize photos they take in-app or pull from the camera roll; apply filters; add text, stickers, and frames

Collage Factory Free (App Store on the Mac): If you like doing some collaging on your laptop, this super simple app is for you. Arrange in multiple template with almost as many different pictures as you can imagine. Also offers free form collaging, text, and different backgrounds.
