We are proud to issue the Call for Proposals for the Electronic Village Online (EVO) 2026.
The Electronic Village Online (EVO) offers free, collaborative, online professional development for English language educators worldwide. Every year, teachers and experts collaborate throughout the year to design and deliver free, five-week online sessions on a range of topics related to technology and language teaching. Sessions are designed from August through December and delivered to educators globally during January and February. EVO sessions are open to all. There are no membership requirements for participants, anyone from around the globe can participate for free as long as they have internet access.
For EVO26, we invite proposals for innovative, engaging sessions that support professional growth and foster global collaboration in the field of English language teaching.

Important Policies for Moderating Teams
To allow for more collaboration on the proposed design for EVO sessions, the EVO Coordination Team requires that moderators use Google Docs as part of the EVO proposal planning and writing process.
The expectation is that all lead moderators, new and returning, as well as new and returning co-moderators, participate in all activities of MOD PD; returning moderators are expected to engage in different tasks that promote a collaborative environment with new moderators.
At least one member of the moderating team has to be a member of TESOL, or IATEFL, or an affiliate, or local English Teacher organization in the country. If none of the members of the moderating team hold this type of membership, at least one member of the moderating team agrees to join one of the entities mentioned before by the time of session delivery January 2026.
Please review the proposal template so you are ready with all the needed information before preparing and submitting your proposal!
