🎉 25 Years of EVO 

EVO, also known as the Electronic Village Online, was co-founded in 2000 by Christine Bauer-Ramazani, Tom Robb, and Susan Gaer, EVO is the online, volunteer-powered extension of TESOL’s former in-person Electronic Village. 2025 marked our silver anniversary—25 years of free, peer-led professional development that reaches thousands of teachers worldwide every January–February.

EVO 25 offered eight five-week sessions—four brand-new and four returning favorites—moderated by a global team of 29 volunteer moderators.

Held from January 6 to February 9, 2025, these sessions brought together English Language Teaching professionals from various countries to explore innovative and much needed themes. Revisit—or discover for the first time EVO25 Sessions.
