The word EVOLUTION has various meanings. The skilful proponent of evolution will bait and switch from one to the other, and even the most ignorant believer in evolution has uncanny powers of persuasion without even thinking.
Evolution: six classifications
1) Cosmic Evolution
2) Chemical Evolution
3) Stellar and Planetary Evolution
4) Organic Evolution
5) Macro Evolution
6) Micro Evolution
1) Cosmic Evolution: True by consensus by atheist/naturalist (driven by random chance) and theist (created by God). This refers to the origin of time, space and matter, known as the ‘Big Bang’, or correctly ‘The Singularity’. The Singularity cannot be tested, but because the residual evidence is so strong it suggests that a ‘big bang’ occurred. Genesis agrees with this theory.
2) Chemical Evolution: True by consensus by atheist/naturalist (by random chance) and theists (by God). While Hydrogen and Helium were formed in the extreme high temperatures of the ‘Big Bang’ the heavier elements such as Iron, Carbon were formed from Hydrogen and Helium in the cooler cosmos after the ‘Big Bang.’ This cannot be tested and verified scientifically but is considered true through observation of current processes in the cosmos .

3) Stellar and planetary Evolution: This refers to the origin of stars and planets. Atheist/naturalist and theist agree. This process cannot be observed in our limited lifespan, but it is agreed that the cosmos is as a result of coalescence of matter after the “Big Bang.”
4) Organic Evolution: Abiogenesis, the formation of life from non-life, or the origin of life based on carbon chains. Atheistic/naturalistic science has not been able to explain or demonstrate this process. However evolutionists believe that life developed from a primordial “soup”, and creationists see it as the hand of God.
5) Macro Evolution: This is the theory that one kind of plant or animal changed into another over a timespan of many millions of years. This has never been observed, even in the laboratory, that one kind, like a fly, can evolve into another kind like a butterfly. A “kind” is considered such if it is able to breed and produce offspring. Hence all dogs and wolves are considered a “kind”. Genesis states that the animals and trees will bring forth after their own “kind.”
Scientists have bred fruit flies in the laboratory of all shapes and sizes. Four wings, no eyes, small eyes, deformed, dead, alive. The variety is splendid. But alas they are all fruit flies.
6) Micro Evolution: This refers to variations within “kinds.” Animals and plants can produce a whole variety of offspring as can be observed in dogs. Selective refinement by breeders achieves this by breeding certain characteristics into or out of a breed. If a specimen of each dog breed were placed in a camp and left to propagate, they would produce something like the original dog within a few generations. Selective breeding of wolf can produce Chihuahuas. This does not mean that evolution has occurred. This selective breeding has resulted in a dog with less genetic information. The variation in the genetic information has been lost and it is therefore not possible to breed back to a wolf again unless the lost genetic material is reintroduced with cross-breeding.
How do evolutionists misuse this micro evolution? The most commonly used example is insecticide and flies or antibiotics and infections. Indiscriminate use of insecticide results in flies becoming immune to the poison. This is quite correct, and has been observed. Therefore, it is argued that the flies have evolved(classification 6 above) and is therefore proof of evolution(classification 5 above). A switch has been made, and unless you know the difference between the evolution classifications you will be taken.
The rebuttal for the switch above is as follows:
The flies are still flies and treatment with insecticide will never result in another “kind” of animal. The gene pool is the same. Within the fly kind (or any other kind) there is a wide spectrum or variation in the gene pool. Some of the flies are genetically resistant to the poison in the same way that some humans react differently to some medications than others do. These flies survive and breed while the susceptible flies die. However, the resistance can be diminished if the resistant population merges with the susceptible population. The resistant population can breed with the susceptible population, therefor they are the same “kind” and evolution(5) has not occurred.
To quote Margaret Chan: “For the first time in history we can track the evolution of a pandemic in real time. Influenza viruses are notorious for their rapid mutation and unpredictable behaviour.” Chan forgets than the influenza virus remains a virus. This is another example of evolution(5) and evolution(6) switch. Also, the flu virus that caused so many deaths during the “Great Flu” early 1900’s mutated so often (as flu viruses do) that by 2015 it had become extinct – not another species - it had succumbed to it’s own mutations.
