Her previous research encompasses utilizing ML techniques for both predictive purposes and in the context of Causal ML frameworks. During her doctoral studies, she was a visiting researcher at Centre d'Etudes Prospectives et d'Informations Internationales (CEPII) and the Vienna Institute for International Economic Studies (WIIW).

Coordinator of the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet project “Understanding European Economic Policy: Towards a Deeper Union” (2019-2022). Schuman-Fulbright Research Scholar at the University of Massachusetts Lowell (2011-2012). Her main research topics include: income redistribution and stabilization of economic fluctuations at the international, inter-regional and microeconomic levels, with a focus on the role of European, national, and local public policies; determinants and impact of University-Industry relations; higher education collaboration networks.
