Costanza Giannantoni

Hi! I am research fellow in Public Economics at the Department of Social Sciences and Economics of Sapienza University of Rome. 

I received my PhD in Economics from Sapienza Department of Economics in 2024. My thesis, titled "Essays on Decentralisation and Local Economic Development", was awarded the AISRe Giorgio Leonardi Prize 2025.

In 2023, I visited the Cañada-Blanch Centre at the London School of Economics and Political Science.

My main research interests include topics in Public Economics and Political Economy, with a focus on local bureaucracy and gender.
