Here we are, today is Everyday Needs Motivation’s Sixth Anniversary! I honestly never thought this day would come, but I'm not sure what I am more shocked by. The fact that I am still doing this or that people still care about what I have to say here. Whether you’ve been following since the beginning or just found this account today, I am forever grateful for your support. Genuinely, I appreciate y’all taking the time to interact even if it was as simple as reacting to a text or liking a post. This platform has allowed me to connect with so many people on a deeper level than I had previously thought was possible. It has helped me get through both the ups and downs in my personal life more than y’all know. I am forever grateful and immensely thankful for that.
I frequently get asked why I started Everyday Needs Motivation. It was a mixture of things, but if I had to say it simply: I wanted to do my part in putting good vibes out into the universe. I think that encapsulates Everyday Needs Motivation’s mission the best. I wanted my own space to just be myself and connect with new people. Here, I can let my guard down and express myself without the fear of judgment. A place to share my thoughts with the world, both good and bad. I tend to harbor my emotions close to my chest. It’s something I have been working on for years.. I desire to be better and getting it all down on paper helps me cope and process it all. Sharing not only helps me but also helps someone out in the world going through something similar know that they are not alone in their fight. The overall messaging has remained consistent over the years: Be different, spread love and welcome joy. Y'all have given me the space to let go of a lot of feelings that have weighed on my mind over the years. A place to connect with new people and open my eyes to new things. Thank you for everything.
Never thought in a million years that one person would take interest in what I had to say, nevermind thousands. When I started out back in 2018, it was often more of a post when I can or when I’m feeling something strong that I need to get off my chest. Now I have the space to create without feeling guilty about not being as consistent as I would like to be. I truly enjoy creating a community that inspires kindness and genuine connection. The end goal for all of the posts and the podcast is to spark deep connections and thoughts that allow for genuine conversation. The goal is to continue to grow both avenues to reach as many people as possible and for the pod to continue being another creative outlet for me to grow through. I would love to hear from y’all if you have any ideas on what you want to hear or if there is anyone you would want to be a guest and I will see what I can do. More to come on the podcast later so stay tuned.
This anniversary has been a long time coming. I would be lying to you if I said it were easy. But I wouldn’t trade the journey for anything. I've had my own personal struggles and questioned a lot of things. But I honestly don’t know where I would be without all of you. Your support and honest conversations mean the absolute world to me and always brighten my day. Getting to know some of you has been an absolute joy and an honor. You are the reason I continue to make content. I wouldn’t be the same person today. I'm certainly not the same person I was six years ago when I started out. Far from it actually . I am much more confident in the person I've grown to be. Hopeful for more better days to come. And I wouldn’t change a single thing after everything is said and done.
Now for some new news! I plan on releasing a new set of podcasts in the Brighten Your Day series in the coming weeks so be on the lookout for those. They will be posted to the same podcast feed so if you’re not following the podcast, go ahead and do that so you don’t miss anything. I’m looking forward to what’s in store for the next year and I hope that you come along for the journey with me. Thank you for everything once again. Until next time, all love my friends.
Be Different. Spread Love. Welcome Joy.

Wow. I honestly can’t believe that it’s already Everyday Needs Motivation’s Fifth Anniversary! I’m honestly getting a tad emotional writing this. This platform has allowed me to connect with so many people on a deeper level than I had previously thought was possible. I appreciate y’all taking the time to interact even if it was as simple as reacting to a text. It absolutely means the world to me to hear from you. It has helped me get through both the ups and downs in my personal life more than y’all know. I am forever grateful for that.
I often get asked why I started Everyday Needs Motivation. It was a mixture of things, but if I had to say it simply: I wanted to do my part in putting good vibes out into the universe. I wanted my own space to just be myself. A place to hold myself accountable for my feelings. Here, I can let my guard down and express myself without the fear of judgment. A place to share my thoughts with the world, both good and bad. I tend to harbor my emotions close to my chest. It’s something I continue to work on. I am not perfect by any means. I desire to be better and getting it all down on paper helps me cope and process it all. Now that's come in various forms over the years. But the overall messaging has remained consistent. Y'all have given me the space to let go of a lot of feelings that have weighed on my soul over the years so thank you for that.
Never thought that so many people would take interest in what I had to say. When I started out, it was often more of a post when I can or when I’m feeling something strong that I need to get off my chest. Now I have the space to create without feeling guilty about not being as consistent as I would like to be. Whether that be posts or stories or just messages to y’all, I truly enjoy creating a community that inspires kindness and shares joy with the world. That turned into starting a podcast. My goal at some point is to produce more in-depth and engaging episodes. Just brainstorming ideas for it…more to come in the future on that. The goal is to continue to grow the pod to become another creative outlet for me to grow through. I grew up listening to the radio and always thinking I might want to put my voice to good use and pursue something in that area. So now I get to live out a small childhood dream through hosting the podcast. I know it’s cliche but it’s still the truth. I know you are sick of me saying this here but thank you so much for your support of the podcast endeavor, you are literally making one of my childhood dreams come true. All I need now is a theme song (if you know anyone let me know…for real though). If you have any ideas for future episodes and what you want to hear feel free to reach out.
It’s been a long road to get here. I would be lying to you if I said it were easy. I’ve had my own personal struggles and questioned a lot of things. About myself, the world, where I’m headed and so much more. But I honestly don’t know where I would be without all of y’all. Your support and honest conversations mean the absolute world to me and always brighten my day. You are the reason I continue to make content. I wouldn’t be the same person today. I'm certainly not the same person I was five years ago when I started out . I was way more concerned with other people's opinions of me. Now I am much more confident in the person I've grown to be. And I wouldn’t change a single thing after everything is said and done,
I’m looking forward to what’s in store for the next year and I hope that you come along for the journey with me. Until next time, all love my friends.
Be Different. Spread Love. Welcome Joy.

Wow. I can’t believe that it’s already Everyday Needs Motivation’s Fourth Anniversary! What had started as just a place for me to put out good vibes for the world has turned into so much more. It allowed me to express my inner thoughts during and now after college. This platform has allowed me to connect with so many of you on a deeper level than I had ever thought possible. I appreciate y’all taking the time to interact even if it was as simple as reacting to a text. It absolutely means the world to me to hear from you. It has helped me get through both the ups and downs in my personal life more than y’all know.
So much has happened over the last year. This account has around 1500 followers now which is still mind boggling to me. Never thought that would ever happen when I first started out. It was often more of a post when I can or when I’m feeling something strong that I need to get off my chest. That thought process has subsided over time and turned into more of consistently creating. Whether that be posts or stories or just messages to y’all, I wanted to put in effort into creating a community that would inspire kindness in the world. That turned into starting a podcast briefly. Yes, there will be more episodes to come. Just had some technical difficulties on my end and a desire to improve the overall quality of the podcast before putting out more episodes. The goal is to grow the pod to become another creative outlet for me to grow through. I grew up listening to the radio and always thinking I might want to put my voice to good use and pursue something in that area. That turned into my living out a small childhood dream through hosting the podcast. I know it’s cliché but it’s the truth. I know you are sick of me saying this here but thank you so much for your support of the podcast endeavor, you are literally making one of my childhood dreams come true. All I need now is a theme song (if you know anyone let me know hahaha). If you have any ideas for future episodes and what you want to hear feel free to reach out.
Now in terms of this blog, there is going to be more of a transition. Just my thoughts in a short and concise manner. The goal is not to write a novel. I am just looking to get my thoughts down on paper and provide a new outlook on life for you to consider. I have a few ideas for topics that are better suited for the blog over the pod that I’ve been working on. I absolutely cannot wait for y’all to read them.
It’s been a long road to get here. I would be lying to you if I said it were easy. I’ve had my own personal struggles and questioned a lot of things. About myself, the world, where I’m headed and so much more. But I honestly don’t know where I would be without all of y’all. Your support and honest conversations mean the absolute world to me. I wouldn’t be the same person today. I am looking forward to what’s in store for the next year and I hope that you come along for the journey with me. Until next time my friends, all love.

I am not an expert in this by any means. This is just a quick list this works for me and may work for you. Here are some easy ways to take care of yourself:
1) Stay hydrated: This one is honestly easy to forget to do. But staying hydrated definitely helps me stay focused and feel good throughout the day. Gotta love a nice glass of water
2) Get some rest: This trick is definitely underrated. That Netflix episode is still gonna be there in the morning. The story in the book isn't going to change overnight. You are going to do well on that test you have the next day. Whatever the case may be, get yourself some rest so that you can truly live your life to the fullest in the morning.
3) Connect with your body: For me, I tend to just take a few minutes to breathe or a quick meditation. For you it could be yoga, exercise, pleasuring yourself, napping, or something else along those lines. Just be sure to listen to your body and take care of your needs as you see fit
4) Reach out to friends or family: As much as I like my alone time, it's always refreshing to hear from an old friend and reconnect. We all need human connection, especially these days. So ask a random question to a bunch of people and spark some good conversation that you wouldn't have had otherwise.
5) Go for a stroll: Go outside and walk around. This is one of my favorites as it's just nice to get some fresh air and just think. It's honestly refreshing. It may spark an adventure that you wouldn't have experienced otherwise.
6) Live in the moment: Life is too short to get caught up in the details of the world. Step back and just live and love. Say yes to that experience that you've been putting off. Of course handle you business, but don't be too quick to say no all of the time. Boundaries are important. But this life is too dang short to not live it to the fullest. Why not?
7) Write. Then write some more: The best way that I found to express my feelings is through writing. There's plenty of ways to do this. Poetry. Journaling. Noveling. Sticky-notes. Find what works for you and run with it.
8) Pursue that hobby that you've been putting off: We all have that passion that we've been putting off. For me it's probably writing more poetry, potentially writing a poetry novel, honestly more content for Everyday Needs Motivation, or actually learning how to play my guitar. Whatever it is for you, just take 5-10 minutes to pick it up again and just go for it. Odds are that if you're passionate about it you'll get much more accomplished in that short period of time than if you didn't put any time aside for it. I promise it will bring some fulfillment and joy to your life.
9) Take a ride and get lost: Hop in your car. Pick a direction. Roll the windows down. Turn the music up. And drive. Go somewhere you've never been before. Find that hidden small town treasure that you would've never found otherwise. Or just enjoy the nice weather. Whatever your motives are I highly recommend taking that drive that you've needed for longer than you're willing to admit. And you always have you're GPS on you're phone to get back home if you literally get lost.
Those are my 9 favorite self tricks I personally use. If you've read this far, thank you so much!!! I know that was a lot. I hope you enjoyed this post. What's you're favorite way to take care of yourself?? Let me know in the comments as well as if you want to see more content like this in the future!
With love,

Hello everyone! It truly has been forever since I have taken the time to sit down and reflect on things via this platform. I was looking through things the other days when I had realized that the second anniversary of when I published my first blog post on this website and essentially started Everyday Needs Motivation was today. I said it then and I will say it now, the ideals behind this movement may be cliche, but I feel that it is something that the world needs more of particularly in the current climate we live in more than ever. Whether that be something that affects the next minute or the next year of our lives, every decision has some sort of impact. So don't be afraid to take that next step. Don't be afraid to just say yes to some wild request. Just live life to make yourself a better person. That can only benefit you in the end. Worst case scenario you make some new friends and have an impact in their lives. I know that I often have trouble getting out of my own little bubble and the figurative wall that I have built up around me over the years. But by writing and publishing my own poetry and putting these positive affirmations into the world I hope that it has affected you in some way. If I can positively impact 1 person's life in some way big or small, well I would call that a life well lived.
Life isn't always sunshine and rainbows. There are going to be times where you doubt yourself and feel some sense of pain. I've had my own fair share of things happen in my own life. And it's okay to feel those things and have bad days every now and again. But it is how you respond that will define. You can either let those things keep you in that dark place. Or you can seek help and try to bring light to the lives of those that you have surrounded yourself with. No one is perfect and no one is asking you to be. Just be yourself and the rest will follow.
In other news, I hope to start writing some new poetry in the upcoming weeks so be on the lookout for that soon. Finally, I sincerely hope that you are doing well right now. If you're not I hope that you have people around you that will help get you to a better place.
Be Different. Spread Love. Welcome Joy.

Oh how time flies by! Just had a sudden urge to reflect on some things. It's been about a year and a half since I started this movement known today as Everyday Needs Motivation. Just by comparing the original logo to that of the present day, it is truly amazing to see this idea turn into something that is now presentable. I have just been feeling some sort of way lately. I truly and genuinely mean everything that I say, no matter how corny and cliche it may seem. I just want a message filled with individuality, love, and joy to be broadcast to those around and possibly one day the world. Hey if you can see it you can be! No matter what our relationship is, I genuinely wish you the best in life. I truly wish that you live life to the fullest and accomplish anything that you set your mind to. In the end, from the bottom of my heart am so appreciative of your time. Whether it be at my highs of the various quotes that I share or at my lowest of lows when some of my deepest feelings are published in my poetry. It takes a decent amount to publish all of that but thank you for keeping me accountable in conveying how I am feeling. For a good portion of my I had trouble expressing any feeling because of a few things that are going to stay in my heart for now.
In the end I just do not want anyone to feel the way that I felt. It's one of the reasons that I go out of my way to wish those around me my best in life. I genuinely care about how you are doing and will gladly listen if that is what you need. I may not be the best at social interaction, but I try my best. Growing up an introvert for the most part it just takes a lot for me to escape my head and make new connections. It is the attempt that matters.
Go out and make someone's day somehow. Holding a door is a great start. As some people often say, Rome was in fact not built in a day. Therefore, the world sure as hell can't be changed by one small action. Just make an effort to initiate change. Thank you for reading this all. Whether you started following this page in the beginning or today, again I truly appreciate your support of this life changing movement! :)
Be Different. Spread Love. Welcome Joy.

Past, Present, and Future
June 17, 2019
Hello everyone! If you are actually reading this right now just know that I am forever thankful for your time and willingness to support my campaign. Before I started to write this entry I happened to notice that it has been almost a year since I wrote my first blog entry. It sure has been one heck of a year to say the least. Over this time time I have tried to become a better person everyday. Although that has been a struggle at times I feel as though I have accomplished that by learning more about myself and meeting new people in the process. Thank you for your time and I look forward to writing a more in depth post when the first anniversary of Everyday Needs Motivation draws closer. Until then be sure to live everyday to the fullest and be yourself.

Hello everyone! I hope that the new year has been treating you well so far. I know that I have been terrible with keeping up with updating this but when life and school get in the way this is usually the thing that takes a backseat. Again if you are actually reading, thank you from the bottom of my heart. It means a lot to me that you have taken the time to change your life and if I can make the smallest impact on someone's life then I am as happy as I can be. I wish you the best of luck with everything that you set your mind to this year. Please remember to just be yourself and to always live your best life, because you only live once so make the most of it.

Hello everyone! I hope that life is going well for you. I know there has not been much new content on this page recently but I've just needed time for myself. There has been a lot of new change in my life that I am still adjusting to. If you're actually reading this I truly appreciate it because motivating people to becoming better people everyday is something I am truly passionate about and take pride in doing. Hopefully I can make some impact in your life so that you can do the same for others. I hope you have a great day and thanks for visiting!

Hello everyone! This whole website thing is still kind of new, so I wanted to get a few things out of the way. First, although the whole idea behind this campaign may be cliche I feel that it is worth marketing. Everyday each of us is faced with many decisions of how to go about our lives.
So I hope that this platform helps you live a better life or just makes you stop and think about how you are currently doing things. I will try to update this whole website pretty often so there should always be something new to inspire you today to create a better tomorrow!
