Using Coach Packet, we will have all submissions prior to the start of the event
Engage with Parents/Athletes: Prior to event, an email from NCSA Coach Packet will be sent in order to verify athlete information for college coaches to access attending this specific event. With this in mind, the goal when engaging with this audience is to get a sense of what their recruiting needs are and how NCSA can help. Also, to encourage families to make sure they received this email in order for us to ensure we are capturing accurate information for college coaches.
After the Coach Packet team receives the full rosters of teams participating at event (typically 48-72 hours prior), they will enter the rosters into Coach Packet and send participants an email (example below).
Parents/Players then can update their info (2nd position, GPA, commitment status, etc.) as well as Opt-In to NCSA.
Recruiting Coordinators on-site will receive up to 25 claimed leads from the event. These leads could potentially be put in their name 1-2 days before the event or 1-2 days after the event depending on the timing of when Coach Packet receives rosters.
DO NOT CONTACT THESE FAMILIES UNTIL POST-EVENT!
For Directors on-site: Coach Packet will add a sentence with the DORE's Calendly link so that families can schedule a recruiting assessment on-site if they want to (example below).
If they schedule an on-site meeting through this link, they should already be in the system and tagged to the event, but use the ONSITE ENROLLMENT LINK to make sure.
For any Pre-Set Meetings, On-site Meetings and/or On-site Enrollments, use the ONSITE ENROLLMENT LINK to ensure that the athlete is tagged to the correct event.
