Wow! What a culinary adventure! Here are some of the amazing foods I got to try!
Tajine and couscous! I was able to attend 2 cooking classes where we made all kinds of tajines. In Marrakesh, we ate with women from around the world (Peru, Argentina, Canada, Switzerland, Germany, UK) to benefit battered women. It was very empowering to cook with women from around the world and exchange stories. The tajine in Marrakesh was made traditionally--with charcoal--but on the gas stove in the Casablanca medina. Both ways were delicious!
