Learning language is so rewarding!

The flight was a great experience for me because in addition to traveling with Evan the Eagle, wonderful Fulbright teachers and fantastic people at Air France, I got to be surrounded by the French language! Whenever I travel to French-speaking places,  I enjoy getting to know peoples and their culture through conversations in their language! I sat next to a French woman on the flight from Paris to  Morocco who works with a company in Cary, North Carolina, lives in Paris, and was flying to Morocco to present at a conference in Casablanca. We had much in common and talked for an hour-- in French, of course--about our school systems, our families, jobs, and travels. Learning language is amazing!
