Quantitative Survey
We are currently conducting a quantitative survey to shed light on the working conditions, job satisfaction, and emotional wellbeing of local and international research staff. The survey will provide further insight into the challenges identified in the first two work packages (literature review and interviews) and provide broader and quantifiable data on the impact of the current research environment on individuals involved in development research. Information on respondents’ sociodemographic background, country of origin, gender, age, and hierarchical position within the research project will be collected to identify specific challenges faced by each group of researchers.
