Berkeley Directed Reading Program

I have been involved many times over with the Berkeley DRP throughout my time in graduate school. I have mentored 7 projects with 6 students (indicating some repeat mentees by the pigeonhole principle!) in topics such as:

• Quasi-isometries

• Axiomatic hyperbolic geometry

• Wallpaper groups and orbifolds

• Surface topology and geometry

• Braid groups

• Metric geometry

• Stallings foldings for free groups
