Welcome to Week 5 of Track 1: Game Studies reading club! Amazingly, we are reaching the end of our Game Studies journey. If you have been steadily reading the weekly assigned texts, and reviewing the weekly video discussions and questions, then you should pat yourself on the back for winning the race! You have achieved level Boss Bowser!

On August 16, 2014 , Saturday, at 10am MT, all Facilitators from Track 1, Track 2, and Virtual Economics will gather together for an intensive and fun panel discussion, via Youtube, on an overview of the major concepts and theories we have covered so far. In the upcoming webcast, I will try to provide an overview of some of the readings (as well as digital games) that I did not get a chance to cover in previous week's video lectures.

Do join our exciting panel discussion! We would love to hear your thoughts about this first iteration of the #Metagame Book Club. We also will discuss some potential topics for future iterations of this book club. Yes, look forward to more book club goodness in the near future!

Onward~
