Diving into Augmented Reality
HP Reveal is a free augmented reality (AR) app. It was used to create the AR examples used throughout the site. Download the free app from the Apple App store or Google Play. We invite you to try creating your own AR examples using the app. Watch the video tutorial or follow the instructions below to begin creating your own exciting content. Before starting the tutorial, make sure to have an image you wish to use for your trigger and the event (video, picture etc.) uploaded to your mobile device.

Instructions:
- Get an image you wish to use as the trigger ready. Either use a real life object or picture. If using a picture have a copy open on another device or printed out. You will need to scan it with the app. Have the video you wish to link uploaded to your mobile device.
- Open your HP Reveal app
- Login using : username etec523w19 password: Week6AR
- Click the + button in the upper right of the app to create a new aura
- Scan your object or image
- Choose an overlay (video) to link to the trigger (there are free overlays provided or use your own)
- Position the overlay
- Name your aura
- Select etec523w19's Public Auras then submit
- To see your aura, open the blue circle with the square in it at the bottom of the app and scan your image
