My Educational Venture Analysis (EVA) recommendation for Venngage is to adjust the paywall for basic functions such as hyperlinking, Branding kits, exporting more than 1 free design. Competitors such as Canva offer unlimited amount of design generation. Providing unlimited amount of basic functions provides a safe space for educators / learners to familiarize themselves with the software and have fun using it. Providing basic functions also helps with retaining existing users who may be frustrated with the interface initially but grow to love the software after using it for some time.
Venngage is near and dear to me because it is a Canadian born software company. Therefore, my other EVA recommendation is for Venngage to conduct user experience research to see how their clients interact with the device. They can also benefit of knowing why certain infographics are more popular than others. By gaining the insight of how users interact with the app, they can understand user behaviour and improve their current UI and cater to what their clients needs.
My last EVA recommendation is cater to other platforms. I use this software religiously for work and the clients I show my data visualizations to are often very happy to see my designs. With the development of education technology such as Virtual reality and advanced chat bots, Venngage has a wealth of opportunity to expand their digital space and how infographics can be expressed in different platforms.
