The traditional method of utilizing printed user manuals to accompany software and web applications as support tools is becoming a thing of the past. Although effective as supplement material, user manuals can often be confusing , difficult to navigate and/or utilized by the user(s) as a last resort. With today's highspeed internet, cloud storage, and screen casting tools, tutorial or instructional videos are becoming the most utilized resource for user guidance and troubleshooting support. I, an Educational Venture Analyst (EVA), have been approached by a large organization to select and analyze a product that will help facilitate online instruction for their training staff. This organization is searching for a tool that will allow their training staff to build custom video tutorials for various software and web applications that they currently use and for potential applications that they will implement in the future. After a quick search, I discovered that the TechSmith application called Camtasia could meet their needs as it is one of the leading video editing and tutorial creators available in the market today. Therefore, I have chosen this product for this Analyst Report.

The goal of this report is to critically review this product in order to provide a recommendation to this organization on whether or not to invest in this product for its company training staff.
