Welcome to my fitness journey! I’m Evan Sines, a passionate advocate for fitness and rehabilitation, currently pursuing my Doctorate in Physical Therapy at The Ohio State University.
My journey into the fitness world began long before my days as a college athlete. Growing up, I developed a deep love for physical activity and the benefits it brought to both my body and mind. This passion only intensified during my time at Eastern Michigan University, where I played baseball and earned my B.S. in Exercise Science.
College athletics was a transformative experience for me. It sharpened my mindset, teaching me the importance of having an efficient process designed to develop you the right way. It also highlighted the necessity of support when striving to achieve something new and challenging. Most importantly, it instilled in me the value of continual growth—understanding that success doesn’t happen overnight, but through strategic planning and consistent effort.
One of the most pivotal moments in my athletic career was recovering from hip labral surgery. This experience threw me off the standard plan that everyone else followed, forcing me to individualize my own training, rehabilitation, and practice plans. With the guidance of professionals, I learned to tailor my approach to fit my unique needs, a lesson that profoundly shaped how I view the fitness and rehabilitation world today.
Now, as I work towards becoming a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) as well as achieving my Doctorate in Physical Therapy, I’m dedicated to applying these lessons to help others achieve their fitness goals. My approach combines personal experience with evidence-based practice, ensuring that every workout plan is both effective and supportive of long-term health.
I’m committed to lifelong learning and continually strive to deepen my knowledge in fitness and rehabilitation. I believe that fitness is not just about physical results, but about building confidence, fostering mental resilience, and embracing a lifestyle of growth and well-being.
