Recomandations and others informations
• Footwear: Choose a shoe that you are comfortable with. Keep in mind that you are going to walk for a long time and it is possible that the rains have wet the ground and there may be slippery parts. The use of flip flops is discouraged.
• Cream and cap: I also recommend the use of sunscreen and a cap.
• Food, water or isotonic drinks: it is advisable to take some food for the tour.
• Lightweight bag or backpack: you will have to carry it all the way, ideally it should be comfortable and light.
It is recommended not to leave the marked trails, as it is a terrain where it is very easy to get disoriented. In addition, the terrain is very stony, irregular and extremely slippery with moisture.
Green route: It starts in the upper parking, sharing a route with yellow route until you reach the fork, which leads to the “Hoyo de la Burra”, an energetic area visited by many meditation lovers. At this point you will also join the Yellow Route again, beginning the return to the Visitor Center. It is a tour that allows to know the morphology of “El Torcal de Antequera” and to recognize some significant figures like the “Sphinx” or “the Indian”. Length: 1,50 km – circular. Gradient: +40m . Estimated duration: 60 minutes. Land: very stony and irregular
