July and August 2023
Reports, dissemination and final steps.
The main objective of our project is to develop problem-solving attitude, social values in our students through respect as well as to enhance creativity and innovation at all levels of teaching. Students should learn to mix together and deal with their cultural and personal differences in a respectful way, to deal with tradition as a fundamental part of their personal history to value for the making of their future. Activities that can improve their oral skills have been encouraged to develop their self-esteem, creativity, positive attitude, leadership, team working, cooperation. With these tools, our students have been introduced in a creative way of learning by creating works of art (posters, recipes for a happy school, video making), learning about other European school systems in webinars, designing logos and slogans, organizing events, shows, exhibitions, contests. They are becoming aware of critical thinking, reasoning and problem solving skills as well as language and long life competences. Children will grow their motivation while learning along the process as they are learning by doing. Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, the Italian coordinator created a virtual Classroom for the Italian school project meetings. This virtual classroom includes all teachers in the project Team from the Italian school. They teach different subjects so the activities are carried out in an interdisciplinary way within the school and project curriculum in presence and in distant learning mode. This environment leads to an improvement of the communication and the digital skills for the students as well as for the teachers. This virtual classroom includes all teachers in the project Team from the Italian school. They teach different subjects so the activities can be carried out in an interdisciplinary way within the school and project curriculum. The Italian coordinator shares committments among the different teachers as follows:
· The teachers of Geography will explain the students the European project partners’ countries, their flags and their historical meanings
· The teachers of English will explain the students the objectives of the project
· The teachers of Art will work on the making of the project countries’ flags to display on the project corner at school
· The Italian coordinator will supervise all actions at school. The Maltese coordinator and the Italian coordinator will organise and update the project Etwinning site with all partners’ activities.
