Primary School Vladimir Becić was founded back in 1961. Throughout its existence, it was originally called "Illyrian settlement", then "Moša Pijade" Primary School, and since 1992 it has been called Vladimir Becić Primary School Osijek.

School year 2022/2023. 319 students attend in 16 regular departments and one department that functions according to the model of partial integration. 43 school employees take care of the students.

World Mental Health Day was celebrated in partner schools.

 A 90-minute collaborative learning workshop was conducted between the 3rd b and 8th grade classes. Students of both classes led and participated in the workshops entitled Who am I and who are you and Stomach Cramp, and a video was made about the same https://youtu.be/tReW7xMBZ58.

8th grade students worked in teams on the topic "Direction" with teacher Marija Brnatović.

Teacher Radojka Wilhelm has been leading the extracurricular activity Small Entrepreneurs for years, and as part of the student cooperative "Legići" she creates and sells products, thus introducing students in a realistic way to how to get from an idea to a product and how the entire production cycle of a product works. Of course, parents are often involved in this work, directly or indirectly, as support. This school year, too, the students made "sweet houses" for the Christmas fair out of biscuits, candies, sugar and lemons. Small entrepreneurs put a lot of effort into each workshop.

The students were discussed through several activities about the successful organization of their time, and the students were introduced to some techniques for faster and better learning. Students also gave useful examples of how they organize their responsibilities, studies and their free time.
