Monday was our first whole day in Vienna. We arrived at the school at 8.30 and the fun began.
Firstly, the teachers -who planned the whole week- and the headmaster said hi to us, the foreigners.
After that we had games where we could get to know each other better. In the first game we got some sentences (for example: “Who likes snow?”) and we had to find someone who said that it was true about them. In the second game everyone had to pair up with the ones who were sitting in front of them and we got a question and had to discuss it with our pairs. After every question we changed pairs so we all got a lot of information about almost everyone.
By this time we got to know each other to the point where we weren’t even shy to sing to the others so every country presented a song. It was extremely funny because not one person praticed their song before so it was a little messy but it made it even more hilarious.
Then we got separated in 3 groups and had to complete a task within our groups. The task was to go around the school and find some QR-Codes and answer the questions about the school that popped up.
After all these enjoyable activities every student got really hungry so we had a wonderful lunch in the school-mensa.
In the afternoon we had 2 kind of sport programs. In one we formed small groups and went outside. The groups had to run around the school yard and match the countries with their capitals. In the other one we went inside and had a dance class with the amazing Klaus. We learned how to do the Viennese Waltz and we all felt like real princesses and princes.
We finished at school around 4 pm and in the afternoon almost the whole Erasmus group hanged out together.
The first day was a fabulous way to get the week going and we had the most fun!
