Day 2

The second day of our meeting started by going to the Belem Tower and then walking to the Monument of the Discoveries. The sights were extraordinary. We also took some photos with the famous bridge 25th of April in the background. Across the street we saw the Jeronimos cathedral and we had lunch in one of the numerous restaurants in the vicinity. After lunch we took the bus drive across the bridge to Almada and we went to the top of Santuario de Cristo Rei to enjoy a magnificent view of Lisbon. To round up the day we embarked on a traditional boat and went on a trip around Tagos estuary and took a glimpse of the Natural Reserve. It was a day well-spent sightseeing in Lisbon.
