Five students and two teachers per country will attend (as detailed in the budget). The 2 teachers are preferably speciality and English, so they can assist students during the practical part of the exchange. The students will be selected from the target group of 17-18 year olds in each school. The host school will involve 8 students in the activities and other students for organisation purposes.
Before the meeting, students will prepare presentations about their countries, regions/towns, and one about their schools, specialisations, career options. They will also prepare short presentations about the touristic potential of their areas, economy, job and business opportunities, cultural life, entertainment, hotels, restaurants and pubs, transport facilities and sports centres, under the supervision of their teachers.
The exchange presupposes both topic-related activities and cultural activities.
Day 1 - arrival and accommodation
Day 2 - participants get acquainted with the host school and town; ice-breaking activities are prepared; initial questionnaires are applied; ice-breaking activities and an international kick-off event are organised.
Day 3 - presentations of towns, countries; presentations of schools and specialisations, career options; attending classes.
Day 4 - presentations of tourist attractions in their area which can be included in the brochure; identifying tools for the creation of brochures which promote the partner areas - students will work in multicultural teams
Day 5 - working on brochures and finalising them; evaluation of brochures by travel agent, geography, English and ICT teachers.
Day 6 - evaluation of the meeting; completion of final questionnaires and feedback forms; certification, completion of Europass Mobility docs.
Day 7 - departure of participants
Throughout the week, cultural events or other team-building activities will be organised by
the host, in order to strengthen the cultural dimension of this project.
After the exchange, students and teachers transfer the knowledge and good practices acquired in dissemination events and practical workshops.
