The final mobility was due to take in Lusk Community College in Dublin in April 2020. Unfortunately global events made our small European project untenable. As the the Corona Virus spread across Europe we were forced to cancel all planned activities. This was a very difficult decision. We sincerely hope that we can work with our European partners in the future. The pandemic may have put an end to this project, but the bonds and the sense of common European identity formed through this project and will remain strong for years to come.

Below is a small selection of the types of events we had planned for the Irish mobility. Our central idea was to show how artisanship can be preserved by creating a viable market for artisan products. We hoped to show Irish craftsman ship in the feilds of Irish traditional music and sport.

Specifically, we planned to visit artisans that make a living from crafting the traditional Irish the drum, the bodhran, the hurley and the national symbol of Ireland, the harp.
