Insert Mathspace

2. Click on the EquatIO extension in the top right corner of your URL bar to open the EquatIO toolbar.

3. Click on the text and Select"Edit Math".

4. Select "Shapes."

5. From the pop up select "More Shapes" and scroll down or search for "Base 10 Blocks (2d)

6. Place your cursor in the mathspace and holding down the left mouse button drag out to create shapes. Note: You cannot scroll down within the mathspace so keep your shapes small.

7. To change the colour of a shape click on the shape so that it is outlined in blue. On the top tool bar select "Change fill colour."

8. Use the first slider to select the colour you would like. To change the transparency of the shape use the second slider.

9. To copy a shape use the keys "Ctrl" + "C" on your keyboard or the copy button. To paste a shape use the keys "Ctrl"+"V" on your keyboard or use the paste button.

10. When you are finished, select the "Insert" button in the top right corner. The mathspace will close and after a moment it will appear as an image in your slide.

11. If you make an error and want to edit the work, select the image and click on "Edit Math."
